To perform the following functions:

  • Complete Income Tax returns, based on financial statements generated by the Audit and Bookkeeping Departments
  • Complete Income Tax returns, based on the necessary information obtained from clients, other than those for which financial statements have been prepared for by the Audit and Bookkeeping Departments
  • Attach all necessary documentary proof to the completed Income Tax returns, to eliminate unnecessary queries and revised assessments from SARS
  • Complete Income Tax returns, forward to clients for signature, and lodge returns with SARS within the shortest possible turn around time, all other constraints considered, to ensure that submission deadlines are met
  • Deal with queries from SARS relating to Income Tax returns completed, at the discretion of the relevant partner
  • Monitor the submission of returns for the relevant partner(s) ensuring that returns which can be submitted are submitted timeouosly
  • Applications to SARS for registration of clients, where required
  • Drafting of statements of assets and liabilities, capital reconciliations and tax computations
  • Calculating third and additional top-up payments when required
  • Controlling general administration of key duties and responsibilities
  • Performing any other tasks relating to the completion of Income Tax returns, which may be reasonably expected

An exciting position exists for an experienced Trader for national company. Successful incumbent must have a Matric + related tertiary qualification + proficiency in MS Office suite + 5 years experience in a similar role in the animal proteins, fats, oils, and minerals for application in petfood industry.

You will be expected to fulfil the following duties:

  • Establish and grow a customer base for users of all animal proteins, fats, oils and minerals for application in petfood, for the South African and Sub-Sahara African Markets.
  • Focus on establishing and gaining market share on the above-mentioned products.
  • Keeping up to date regarding International as well as Domestic Market Indicators related to these products.
  • Travel often in/around major centres such as Durban, Cape Town, Gauteng to promote, market and sell the goods associated with the category.
  • Sales of the goods. This will incorporate sales made directly by yourself as well as giving assistance to the sales team in getting goods sold.
  • Marketing of the goods.
  • Procurement of the goods – including researching suitable suppliers / alternative suppliers.
  • Recording relevant stock movements to ensure that replenishment is done on an ongoing basis and on time.
  • Research and identify suppliers producing specialised products that can be added to our basket easily related to this category.
  • Research and identify prospective customers for these commodities, determine their supply needs and offer our services as an ongoing solution to their business.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing relationship building with customers by communicating offers, providing support, communicating market information, and offering all round assistance in case of difficulties experienced.
  • Maximise sales success by communicating all objections from customers related to closing a sale to your direct line manager.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing our organisational standards.
  • Successfully completing all tasks and instructions as communicated to you by management within the deadline provided.
  • Communicating customer complaints/concerns to your direct line manager immediately upon occurrence and to assist in effectively and timeously resolve such matters.
